The Changed Man is designed for the man who wants a clear, structured process for making positive changes to his health, habits, relationships, or the direction of his life.
No guesswork. No hype. Just a method that works when change gets difficult.
A clear understanding of how change actually works at a psychological and neurological level.
Decades of seeing where people get stuck and what actually helps them move forward.
Not just reading about change, but living through it myself.
This program isn’t based on one perspective. It’s the combination of all three. And it’s designed to give you something most people never get:
The Changed Man has two parallel goals. One is for you to learn a portable, proven process for making difficult changes, one that works whether the change involves your health, your habits, your relationships, or the direction of your life.
The other is more specific: after more than thirty years of helping people make difficult changes, I’ve developed a clear picture of what changes most men need to make in their relationships, their work, their understanding of themselves, and in how the world experiences them to have a fulfilling life built on purpose and this content is also a part of The Changed Man.
The Changed Man begins with you: the basic mechanics of how you function. Week one is an exploration of your identity, what it is, and what to do about the gap between who you actually are, your true self, and who you learned you needed to be. From there, you’ll examine the two levels at which change can happen: behavior and identity. Behavioral change is the most accessible place to start, but it’s also the first thing to fail when things get hard because behavior that isn’t backed by identity tends to revert to the path of least resistance.
You’ll also work through the distinction between what you can control, what you can influence, and what you need to accept, and learn how to build a change mindset.
The Daily Process 31 begins here. A brief morning and evening practice that takes between two and five minutes each side, it runs for 31 days through the heart of the program.
Week two turns to your relationship to pleasure and pain, and how dopamine drives the loops that make certain patterns so resistant to change. You’ll learn what you actually need to know about how those loops form, what they cost over time, and why dopamine behaves the way it does, in plain language.
Though The Changed Man isn’t a relationship program (that’s The Changed Couple), we cover the content essential for every relationship: communication, connection, and conflict.
By week three, you have the self-awareness to move into more precise work, which starts with an honest look at the question behind most failed attempts at change: the reasons for not changing. Not changing usually serves us in some way, and seeing those reasons clearly removes barriers that most people never examine.
Week three also covers the reality of motivation and accountability. External motivation can get us moving, but the problem is sustainability. The moment external pressure lifts, there’s often nothing underneath to hold the behavior in place. You’ll develop a clear understanding of your internal motivation for the changes, reasons that matter even if no one ever knew you were making the change. Alongside that, you’ll examine accountability and the most basic unit of trust, with other people and with yourself: doing what you say you’re going to do.
Week four is about what the sustained daily work of change actually looks like. The organizing principle will be familiar to anyone who has spent time in a gym: capacity gets built through repetition, through gradual loading, through learning to interpret resistance as information about your process rather than evidence that it’s time to stop or that something is wrong.
Week four builds that capacity: a solid daily program of movement, rest, and fuel, and the regulation work that makes the other tools more accessible when you need them most. You’ll also learn how urges and emotions behave, and why your emotions exist to communicate important things rather than simply as experiences to be indulged or avoided.
Week five introduces the core tools for interrupting automatic patterns in real time, along with practices that create space between what you feel and what you do.
In week six, we’ll use that brain of yours to push yourself forward in time and develop a vision for who you are and who you are becoming: how you participate in your relationships, what your relationship with yourself looks like, how you respond to adversity, and how you remain aligned in a life of purpose rather than one governed by the pursuit of pleasure and comfort.
You’ll take the post-assessment and set it against where you started, and build your forward plan for what comes next. The program ends, but your access doesn’t.
If you’ve tried to change before and it didn’t last, you’re not alone.
That’s why this program exists.
But it won’t be easy. This program takes work.
Only join us if you’re ready to give yourself the time and attention you deserve. If you do that, you’ll be amazed at the changes you can make.
